Vivian M. Kasunic

VIVIAN M. KASUNIC (nee Keserich), age 89, preceded in death by her loving parents
George and Lena Keserich (Page), her beloved husband Stephen N. Kasunic of 52 years,
and her beloved daughter Karen Gail Kasunic. She is also loving mother of Christine
Leigh MacDonald (Michael), and Stephen Nicholas Kasunic, Jr. (the beloved late Pamela
Kay); loving grandmother of Ryan and Austin Kasunic; dear sister of Karen Lee Schapiro
(Ross) of Pebble Beach, CA, and dear aunt of nephew Trevor Schapiro, and many
Kasunic nieces and nephews; dear cousin of Bertha Strauss (Dale), and Charles
Keserich. She is also preceded in death by her dear sister-in law, Beverly Kasunic and
her best friend of 75 years, Ann Wallis.
Vivian was born on August 30, 1930 in Cleveland. She graduated from John Hay High
School in 1948. She enjoyed her membership in Turners gymnastics club. She was a
secretary for Visconsi Insurance and Real Estate, and A.J. Weatherhead Research, and
Development & Energy Departments. After marriage, she became a homemaker who
loved cooking and baking and was well known for fabulous Christmas cookies! Vivian
and Steve raised a family in Willowick for 10 years, then Solon for 50+ years. She
bowled in a neighborhood league and loved playing pinochle with her mom and Dad and
with great friends and neighbors. Later on, she worked at Jury Verdict Research as
editor for their legal publication called “Lawyer to Lawyer”. She and her husband
enjoyed performing in the Zumbercani Croatian singing group in their senior years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 4, 10AM at Church of the Resurrection, 33001 Cannon Road, Solon, where family will visit with friends ONE HOUR PRIOR TO MASS. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
