Vivian Lawson

Vivian Lawson died July 9th, 2023, after a short illness at the Atrium of Anna Maria nursing facility in Aurora, OH. She was 95 years old.
Mrs. Lawson was born Vivian Lou Robinson in Philippi, WV. on January 30, 1928. After a few years, the family relocated to Akron, OH where Vivian first attended Seiberling School and later on graduated from East High School.
Mrs. Lawson worked as a dental assistant for several years before going to work for Roadway Express in the Marketing Department, which she retired from.
Vivian met and married James Riley in Akron where they had a son Michael and daughter Katherine. For a time, the family lived in Goodyear Heights in Akron. The marriage ended leaving Vivian with the responsibility of raising two kids.
After some time had passed Vivian met and later married Carl Lawson, which also had three children (Larry, Denise, and Susan). Initially they lived in Carl’s home on Stephens Rd. in Akron but after a short time relocated to a condominium on Devon Ct. in Ellet.
Preceding her in death are parents Gordon and Hazel Robinson, brother Neal Robinson, husband Carl Lawson, daughter Katherine Powers, stepson Larry Ferrell, stepdaughter Denise Ferrell, and grandson Richard Fike.
Surviving is her son Michael, stepson Larry Lawson, stepdaughter Susan Amato and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A small family service will be held at a later date.
