RICHARD G. TROMPOSCH, of Solon. February 1, 1922 – March 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Morvay), married 60 years; loving father of Maria J. (Michael) Hickey; son of the late Julia and Frank Tromposch; dear brother of the late Frank Tromposch; affectionate owner of KiKi. Accomplished and respected chef, schooled in Europe, medal winner in the Culinary Olympics and member of the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque. Executive Chef of: Tudor Arms, Union Club, The Country Club, and Beechmont Country Club, and his own home. Mass of Christian Burial Friday March 20, 10AM at St. Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon. Family will visit with friends at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON FROM 4-8 PM THURSDAY. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
