RICHARD L. ADAMS, of Solon. January 1, 1925 – May 24, 2022. Proud Army Veteran of WWII. His Army unit landed on Omaha Beach, Normandy at 805am on June 6, 1944. Beloved husband of the late Carol L. (nee Davies); dear son of the late Marie (nee Lloyd) and Cecil Adams; loving father of Susan Adams, Kathleen (Anthony) Battiato, and Richard L. Jr. (Donnalyn) Adams; cherished grandfather of Matthew and Eric Adams, Malcolm (Taylor), and Carl Battiato; brother of William (Caroline), and the late Betty Adams, Cecil “Lloyd” Adams, and Dorothy Wintermute. Services Saturday, June 4, 11:30AM at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Family will visit with friends FROM 10AM TO 11:30AM PRIOR TO SERVICES ON SATURDAY.
