REV. JOHN WESLEY TOWNSEND, of Chagrin Falls. April 15, 1920 – January 30, 2016. Pastored The Federated Church in Chagrin Falls for 39 years and St. Luke’s UCC in Old Brooklyn for 15 years. Beloved husband of the late Rose Jane (nee Smiley) and Donna (Lusa) Townsend; loving father of John W. Townsend Jr., and Sarah Littlefield; cherished grandfather of Jessica Littlefield. Memorial Service Friday, February 5, 4PM at Federated Church, 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chagrin Falls Park, c/o Federated Church.
