Phyllis Pisarchick, 58, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at her home on Monday, April 18, 2022. Always a warrior, she spent the last two years of her life fighting stage 4 breast cancer with her devoted parents by her side.
Daughter of John “Jack” and Paula Callanan, she was born in Brooklyn and raised in Monroe, NY. She was a graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School, Central Valley, NY & B.O.C.E.S., Goshen, NY in Dental Assisting Class of 1981. Most recently Phyllis worked at Wilcox Primary School & Twinsburg City Schools.
She relocated to Macedonia, Ohio over 30 years ago with her beloved husband, Mark Regis Pisarchick, who sadly predeceased her in March, 2018. Making Ohio their home, they welcomed their daughter Amanda, now 28, and surrounded themselves with lifelong friends and family that are truly heartbroken. Along with her parents, Jack and Paula Callanan, Phyllis is survived by her dear daughter, Amanda Marie Pisarchick, her sister Cristine Callanan & nephew Will, her loving mother-in-law Sally Pisarchick, sister-in-law Darlene Quinones & nephew A.J., brother-in-law Brad Pisarchick & his wife Gretchen, step-daughter Sarah & her daughters Nicole Markayla & Emma, her very dear friend and soul-sister Rhonda Gant Sakach, and many close friends and extended family.
Cremation entrusted to F. J. Corrigan/Steinbauer Funeral Service, 33375 Bainbridge Road, Solon, Ohio with memorial services Saturday April 30, from 10:30AM – 12:30PM with closing services at 12:30PM.
The family would like to thank Cleveland Clinic Medical Oncology & Hillcrest Hospital for the adoring care they gave to Phyllis & our family these past two years, especially Dr. Pishchick & Traci, and Phyllis’s “Golden Girls” Rhonda & Gayle who filled her life with laughter and genuine love each and every day
