MARY A. VANEK (nee Hanzel) June 16, 1927 – December 22, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Donald; loving mother of Diane, Bill (Donnett), Kathleen “Cookie” (Bob), Dan, and Jim (Rhonda); daughter of the late John and Mary Hanzel; cherished grandmother of 5; dear great grandmother of 2; sister of Bernard (June), Lillian (Ed), and the late Sue, John Jr., Catherine, Margaret, and Paul. Our family thanks the staff of Anna Maria of Aurora and The Garden of Western Reserve Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, or Gardens of Western Reserve Hospice. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
