MARK JOSEPH MYERS, age 53, Born 08/30/1967 in Garfield Heights, Ohio, died unexpectedly on July 5th, 2021. Beloved husband to Pamela (nee Shrewsbury) and loving father to Matthew and Luke; cherished son of the late Arlene and William Myers; dear son-in-law of the late Rose Shrewsbury; Brother to Michael(Debbie),the Late Mary, Susan, Laura (the late Joseph) and Dan(Lara);
Brother in law to Paula (Danny),Kevin (Wendy), Dawn, Ken (Sally); and several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Mark started his work career as a Truck driver for Great Lakes Trucking, but then pursued a career that was well suited for him due to his compassion and willingness to help people, in Nursing. After working as a nurse for several years, he followed his dream of becoming a CRNA and graduated in 2012 with a Masters of Science in Nurse Anesthesia. Mark started his career at Parma Hospital for 3 years, then went to the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center where he was proud to care for our veterans. To quote one of his co-workers, “Mark was a great friend, that by his words and actions made this world a better place. He embodied everything a man should strive for, hard work, honesty, love for his family and Faith in our Lord.”
Mark loved his Cleveland Browns, fishing and telling a “good” joke. Rest In Peace, our dear Mark, until we see you again, we shall miss you deeply.
Calling Hours on Friday, July 16, 4-8pm, at Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd, Solon, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, 10am at St Rita Catholic Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd, Solon Ohio, followed by Graveside Service at All Saints Cemetery, 480 W Highland Rd, in Northfield ,Ohio.
