JOYCE ANN CONKLIN (nee Webb); of Aurora. November 27, 1930 – July 12, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert S.; dear mother of Robert S. (Susan) of Boardman, William W. of Twinsburg, James K. (Nancy) of Aurora, Thomas A. of Atlanta, and Richard L. (Pamela) of Twinsburg; loving grandmother of nine; cherished great grandmother of seven; sister of Judith Bortz. Memorial Services Friday July 18, 7PM at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, where family will visit with friends from 4PM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICES. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Solon Benevolent Fund.

Joyce was born in Youngstown to the late Alice (nee Beard) and Wesley Webb. She graduated from South High and attended Youngstown College. While her children attended grade school she was a homemaker and also worked as a teacher’s aid at Fairfax Elementary in Mentor for eight years.  Afterwards, she worked at Kmart in Solon for ten years.  Joyce suffered a stroke in 1996 and was primarily taken care of by her children up until the last eighteen months where she was professionally cared for by the staff at Kensington Care Center in Aurora.  The family would like to acknowledge their gratitude for the kindness and patience the staff exhibited while she was there.
