They settled in Aurora in 1946 and ran the Grandview Motel and Restaurant across from Geauga Lake. She was an excellent cook and made everything fresh, including her own pasta. She and her husband were avid horsemen and owned numerous race horses at Northfield Park. She resided at Aurora Manor for the past twelve years. There she gained many friends and was thankful for the care they provided.
