JOHN HAYDU, Jr.; of Solon. September 12, 1940 – June 19, 2015. Army Veteran stationed in Korea as a Military Police; served as a Solon Police Officer from 1971 until retiring in 1989. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Rosala); loving father of Amy Haydu and Melanie Ray; cherished son of the late Elsie (nee Horn) and John Sr.; dear brother of Henry (Susan) and Larry (Shirley), brother in law of Mitchell Rosala; uncle of Brian and David (Jessica) Haydu. Services Tuesday June 23, 11AM at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD. SOLON, where family will visit with friends ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICES. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
