John A. Toth, Jr. “Jack”

JOHN A. TOTH, JR., of Solon. September 6, 1927 – July 4, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Birdie Ann (nee Kickel); loving father of Kathy (Tom) Cheh, Jack (Marianne), Kim (Greg) Kachele, and Kris (Anthony) Diotalevi; cherished grandfather of Christopher, Adam, Tommy (Arielle), and John Michael Cheh, Janie, John, and Maria Toth, Kelly, Kara, Gregory Kachele, and Carli, Anthony Jr., and Alexandra Diotalevi; dear great grandfather of Gianna Renata; brother of the late Blanche Joyce, Lucille Erjavec, and Gladys Brinegar; brother-in-law of Robert and Ruth Kickel, and uncle of many. Mass of Christian Burial Monday July 10, 11AM at St. Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Family will visit with friends at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, FROM 2-7PM SUNDAY. Army Ranger Korean War Memorials may be made to St. Rita Church Endowment Fund.

John was born in Cleveland to Blanche (nee Cermak) and John Albert Toth. He graduated from Shaker Hts. High School and John Carroll University. He retired from Sales in 1993 as the Director of Sales of Morganite Corporation. He was married to Birdie Ann on July 31, 1954 until her death in August 2002.
