JEANETTE PARK WALKER, of Solon. August 1, 1922 – February 21, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Charles Grant Walker; dear mother of Diana (Randy) Krizek, Deborah (William) Thompson, Daphne (Peter) Mann, and the late Denise (Lee) Albers; loving grandmother of 11; cherished great grandmother of 9 sister of Agnes Park Fausnaugh, and the late William Earl Park Jr. Services Saturday February 27, 11AM at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD. SOLON, where family will visit with friends ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICES. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or University Hospital Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Neonatal Unit.

Jeanette was born in Akron and graduated from Buchtel High School and attended Miami University in Oxford where she met her husband Charles before WWII began for the United States. They raised their children in Solon where she was involved in Roxbury PTA, serving as president, a member of the Lake Erie Girl Scout Council, on the committee in the designing Arthur Rd. School, and  part of the American Field Service Program. She was a Deacon, Elder, and Sunday school teacher for many years at Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church. Her husband predeceased her in 1986, as well as a daughter Denise in 2000.
