George W. Seel

GEORGE WILLIAM SEEL, of Solon. May 10, 1938 – January 11, 2023. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Domachowski); loving father of Rick (Lisa) Seel, Sherry Boose, and Chris (Traci) Seel; cherished grandfather of Matthew Seel, Courtney Nagle, Olivia Boose, Zachary Boose, Gabby Cymbal, and Grace Seel; dear great grandfather of Liam, Lucas, Zoe, and the late Declan; brother of Carol, Paulette (Charles), Mary Lou, Richard (Julie), Linda, Angel, and the late Nancy; brother-in-law of Charlotte Gibson and Ray (Bonnie) Dombrowski. Family will visit with friends FROM 4-7PM TUESDAY JANUARY 17, at Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd., Solon, where closing memorial service prayers will be at 7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

George was an entrepreneur and worked as a private auto mechanic in George’s Garage. He was an avid hobbyist as a model radio controlled pilot with over 100 planes, a midget racecar driver and model n-gage trains enthusiast. He also restored a 1930 model A Ford Deluxe Roadster.
