George L. Allison Jr.

George L. Allison Jr., (age 87) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio passed away on June 8th. Born 1931 in Akron Ohio,
George was a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and a lifetime member of their Alumni
Association. After retiring as Controller of Wodin Inc. of Bedford Ohio, George was a dedicated
member of the Cleveland Hiking Club and amassed over 10,000 miles hiking all over the world.
He is survived by his son Mark Allison, daughter-in-law Beth Allison and grand-children Morgan and
Drew Allison.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Joan Allison, and first wife of 44 years Marilyn (nee
Johanning) and second wife Sandra Colbert and his sister Catherine (Andrews).
The family will visit with friends at Kindrich-McHugh-Steinbauer Funeral Home at 33375 Bainbridge Rd.
Solon on June 23rd from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Solon. In
