From a modest start, Fran worked his way up, becoming a successful business executive with LTV Steel. Fran was a family man and tirelessly worked to provide for his wife and four children. He was always eager to encourage and guide his children’s development as they engaged in extracurricular activities and sports. Later in life, he enjoyed family vacations in the Adirondacks, where he spent time as a youth. He was a prolific reader, a photography enthusiast, a lucky fisherman, a seasoned cook, an avid gardener, and an impeccable winemaker, bringing a careful attention to detail to everything he did.
