Evelyn Lee Dillemuth

Evelyn Lee Dillemuth (Nowak), age 91, passed away November 9, 2022. Born on November 8th, 1931, she was the daughter of Joseph and Erma Nowak. She graduated from Lakewood high school. Evelyn married her next door neighbor Arthur Dillemuth on August 30, 1951 and had three beautiful children. She lived a full life traveling and seeing the world with her husband. She loved cooking gourmet meals, playing games and was an avid reader. She had a deep love for her family and loved being a grandmother. When asked about her life she said “I had a wonderful life and wouldn’t change a single thing”.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son Matthew. Evelyn is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 70 years, Arthur, her daughter Diane (Chuck) Ruzicka and son Mark (Natalie) Dillemuth, her grandchildren Kristin (Alfonso Escalona) Ruzicka, Katie (Brad) Meibers, Kerianne (Henry Fraser) Ruzicka, Kendra (Victor) Cich, Kameron (Melissa Robinson) Dillemuth and Karlyn Dillemuth and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private at Western Reserve National cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday November 13th from 2 to 4 at Steinbauer funeral home 33375 Bainbridge road, Solon, Oh.
