Elizabeth Lucy Kane Misko of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2017 at Hamlet Hills Manor in Chagrin Falls. Elizabeth was born November 16, 1925, in Groton, New York, the daughter of John and Margaret Kane. She graduated with nursing degrees from St. Joseph’s College in Syracuse, New York, Catholic University in Washington D.C, and the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, where she taught nursing for many years. She met her husband, Aloysius E. Misko, while teaching at the University of Michigan. They were married for 46 years until Al passed away in 2000. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Marsha Fulton, of Revere, MA, and husband, David Fulton, Shelly Wangler of Chagrin Falls, and husband, David Wangler, Granddaughters, Alexis, Brooke and Mackenzie Wangler. Calling hours are Thursday, February 16, 4-7 pm at Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd, Solon. Funeral Mass at 10 am Friday, February 17, Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Castle Hayne, N.C.
