Elizabeth Marcincin
Elizabeth A. (Betty) Marcincin, nee DeFranco age 84 of Solon, passed away on January 14th. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters and family. Beloved wife of 41 years to the late Alfred G. Marcincin. Devoted mother of Nancy (Bob) Yodice, Mary Lou Marcincin, Elizabeth (Tony) Salvo and Laura (Jerry) Prusha. Cherished grandmother of Bob (Kim) Yodice, Nick (Ally) Yodice, Anthony and Enzo Salvo, Allie and Sydney Prusha. Treasured great–grandmother of Landon and Deagan Yodice. Step great –grandmother of Ethan and Caleb. Daughter of the late Ben and Nathely DeFranco. Loving and devoted sister of Bill (Susan) DeFranco, and the late Pat (Rosalie), George (Jean), and Janet. Dear sister-in-law of the late Marge (Paul) Riedel. Loving Aunt, Cousin, Niece, Comare, Godmother , ‘second Mom’ and friend of many.
Known as “Aunt Betty “to many . She was a homemaker, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her hobbies included cooking and baking for family and friends and sewing. It meant the world to her to attend her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities . Her favorite song, which she played on the piano was ‘Beautiful Dreamer.’ She was volunteer for St. Rita Church for 23 years. Mass of Christian Burial Monday January 18, 10AM at St. Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Family will visit with friends at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON FROM 2-7 PM SUNDAY.
