Donald Richard Neumann
Donald Richard Neumann, 68, of Solon, died December 13 following a short illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Milly(Liyong), their daughter Jasmine, and his children, Andy and Hannah, from a prior marriage. He is survived by his brothers Bob(Pat), Fred(Debbie), and Ray(Jan), his sister, Janet Dunbar, his nieces, Susan, April, and Sara, his nephews, Tom, Steven, Freddie, and Adam, and their children. Don loved traveling, hiking, classic music and Arts. He was a devoted husband, loving father and thoughtful brother. Don was a well-regarded staff member of the Cleveland Clinic Imaging Institute as a radiologist for 33 years, he was the Director of the Nuclear Oncologic Imaging department. He received his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine and his BS, MS and PhD form Case Western Reserve University in biomedical engineering. His legacy includes continuously being awarded of America’s top Doctors for many years, and numerous papers he authored to advance medical research and education in medical imaging.
The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation on Sunday, December 18 from 2-6 pm at Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Road, Solon, Ohio. The memorial service will be held at sometime in January, 2023.
