Devin Rubbo

Devin Rubbo, beloved son to Madhavi (nee Nunna) Rubbo and Michael Rubbo and brother to Khalin Rubbo, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 12th in the comfort of his home.
Devin was born on December 1st, 2002 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He and his family moved to Solon, Ohio in 2006 where Devin attended Lewis Elementary, and went on to graduate from Solon High School in 2021 with honors. He was a curious student with a thirst for knowledge and a joy to his teachers. During his junior year, he joined Solon’s Show Choir Music in Motion (MIM), a highlight of his high school career. He then went on to study Anthropology at the Honors College at Kent State University where he completed his sophomore year.
Those who knew Devin would remember him as a sweet and kind young man with a huge heart who loved his family and friends deeply. He enjoyed working at R Fun House, surrounded by the comics, collectables, and friends he loved. He enjoyed collecting books, music, playing video games with his younger brother, caring for animals, (especially our cat Caroline), and all thrill-seeking rides.
Devin was predeceased by his maternal Grandfather, Nagabhushanam Nunna. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Madhavi Rubbo, younger brother Khalin, his maternal Grandmother Seetha Nunna, Paternal grandparents William and Ann Rubbo. He was a nephew to one uncle and 4 aunts and a cousin to many.
Services will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, Solon on Friday, May 19th with visitation at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held at the Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home for all family and friends 4pm – 7pm on Thursday May 18th.
