DALE F. PELSOZY, of Solon. December 20, 1952 – May 13, 2019. As a lawyer, Dale was respected by peers in his profession, coupled by his strong sense of duty in civic responsibilities. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Kuzius); loving father of Mark (Victoria), and Brian Pelsozy; cherished grandfather of Grace and Anna; son of the late Grace and Ernest; dear brother of Paul (Barbara). Mass of Christian Burial Saturday May 25, 10AM (note change in time) at St. Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon, where family will visit with friends ONE HOUR PRIOR TO MASS and following mass at the Solon Senior Center. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to CVSR (Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad), P.O. Box 158, Peninsula, OH 44264.

Dale was a graduate of Solon High School, Class of 1971. He attended Kenyon College, graduated from John Carroll University in 1975, and finally a graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He was a trial lawyer first with the Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office, then in private practice with Bertch, Millican, & Winslow, and Koeth, Rice, & Pelsozy, and he also worked with the Cuyahoga County Civil Division for 13 years. He served as Solon City Councilman from 1989-1999 as well as Vice-Mayor during the Robert Paulson Administration. His love of trains grew once volunteering with Cuyahoga Valley Preservation and Scenic Railway Association for over 2000 volunteer hours. Dale was a lifelong athlete, enjoying football, running, skiing, and cycling. He was also involved in  4th Angel Cancer Mentoring program during his 18 years with cancer.
