Cynthia Davis Patrick

Cynthia Davis Patrick, age 75 of Aurora, Ohio passed away on October 13, 2022. Cynthia was born to the late Otha and Helen Davis in Cleveland, Ohio on March 23, 1947. Cynthia was a graduate of Holy Name High School. She worked as a project manager for Life Systems of Beachwood, Ohio for many years until her retirement in 2012. She shared and had a great love of family and friends. Survived by her sister, Mrs. Susan Vidd (Dr. Jerome Vidd) of Aurora, Ohio, her nephews Ryan Vidd (Rachel), Dennis Davis Jr. (Lara), and nieces Emily Conant (Aaron), Deborah Junkins (Kenneth), Deirdre Jensen (Kevin), and 7 great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Dennis D. Davis.
Cindy loved her family first and foremost. She enjoyed time with her nieces and nephews often helping to babysit. She loved and enjoyed her friends who were there for her to the very end. She was an avid reader and loved to collect vintage bibles and rosaries. She was very religious and spent years holding vigil every Wednesday evening at Sts. Cosmas and Damien in Twinsburg and was a parishioner at St. Rita in Solon. She loved animals, especially Yorkshire Terriers. She always had a Yorkshire Terrier by her side and would often donate to the ASPCA. Cindy loved adventures on Lake Erie and would spend every summer weekend in Marblehead, Ohio in her little trailer at Zeller’s Beach where she would gather with friends and enjoy dinners and friendship. She looked forward to spending a few months in Florida each winter as a snowbird. Once again, she would meet up with family and friends in Florida.
She was devoted to helping our father until he passed in 2018 at the age of 98. What fun we had when our mom was alive checking out antique malls and going to antique doll shows. Those were great times. I am thankful for all the years we spent together from our earlier days walking to school each day to adulthood where we continued to explore and search for treasures in the dark corners of an antique store. In all of her searching she knew the greatest treasure of all was her devotion to God and the love of her family and friends. She will be missed and her memory will continue in our hearts. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday October 19, 10:30 AM at St. Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.
