Carole Joyce Lenart (Piroska) passed away on February 11, 2023. Carole is survived by her sister Dona Wood (Piroska)of Las Vegas, NV; sons Matthew of Brighton Michigan and daughter-in-law Laura, Mark and Major Lenart of Cleveland, and her daughter Susan McCollom (Lenart) and son-in-law Russell McCollom of The Colony, Texas; 9 grandchildren: Matthew Lenart and wife Nicole Lenart, Joshua Lenart, Kirsten Palmer (Lenart) and husband Anthony, Austin Lenart, Erika Lenart, Nicholas Lenart, Francesca Lenart, Jack McCollom, and Stephen McCollom; 2 great children, Maxen Lenart and Reid Palmer. She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Norman Lenart, her son Mitchell Lenart, parents Alfred and Julia Piroska, brother Michael Piroska, her dog, companion and “soulmate” Midnight, and many valued friends.
Carole was born December 14,1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a dedicated daughter and oldest sister to Dona and Michael. She dedicated 30 + years raising her 5 children. She was the queen of the carpool, made dinner every night, supported her sons in all their sports and her daughter through, dance, baton twirling, and music lessons. She was active in the Garden Club of Solon, PTA for years, booster club, and supported her husband through all his business ventures. She loved to travel and played on a golf league with friends for many years. She was the star of preparing all the mums for Homecoming during her children’s high school years and was magical with ribbons and bows. The varsity football players got to enjoy her homemade cream puffs on senior night every year there was a Lenart boy on the team. She loved making floral arrangements, gardening, acrylic painting, reading, and having her hair done every week. She dedicated her last 20 years living in Texas and supporting her grandsons Jack and Stephen through their activities. She once again attended every sporting event, boy scout event, award ceremony, and grandparent luncheon. She had the opportunity to travel and see the sights of Texas and never had to shovel snow. Even though she lived in Texas, Ohio was her home and owned her heart. All are welcome to celebrate her life during mass at the St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Solon, Ohio on February 21, 2023 at 10:00am, bright colors preferred. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery in Solon immediately following; all are welcome.
