Bonnie Strine

Bonnie L. Strine (Szomoru) – Age: 78, resident of Aurora, Ohio for 49 years, entered into rest on August 14, 2022.
Survived by her loving husband, Gene of 53 years, daughters; Rhonda Lowe (Ron), Traci DeSantis (Frank) and three grandchildren; Melissa and Ryan Wilkinson and Jonathan DeSantis; daughter of the late Helen Frances (nee Karban) and Michael Francis Szomoru.
Bonnie was an Executive Secretary at Chase Brass until 1969 when she took on her most rewarding accomplishment, as wife, mother and grandmother. She had been an active participant of the Akron Power Squadron for 20 years and the North East Corvette Club for 24 years. She loved the outdoors, boating and traveling, especially the Harley trip across Route 66 and taking in the scenery while hanging on to her co-pilot, Gene (the side car trips not so much). She was an avid reader, enjoyed her bowling and loved to watch golf, where she admired all the wonderful vistas and countryside through the years. But most of all she loved having her family close by so they could visit often.
She will be forever loved and constantly missed.
