Anastasia Mary Obojtek

Anastasia Mary Obojtek, 70, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend went home to be with The Lord on May 25, 2023. She was born in Cleveland on August 13, 1952 to Stanley and Sophie Makar (Chlebus). Anastasia attended Aurora High School and began working post graduation. Anastasia met Joseph Obojtek, was married, and had their daughter, Tammy Bradley (Obojtek) in 1976. Anastasia diligently worked for Kennametal (Solon) for over 30 years before retiring. She was a dedicated employee who cared deeply for her co-workers and the quality of her work. Anastasia loved her daughter, her family, her grandchildren, her pet dogs, spending time with family and friends and telling stories to all. She loved to laugh, tell jokes and watch other people laugh. Her sense of humor and unforgettable catch phrases will live on in her family and friends. Anastasia was committed to prayer, always had a listening ear and demonstrated compassion to those in need. She was extremely generous.
Anastasia was predeceased by Joseph Obojtek. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Ross) Bradley, grandchildren, Ella and Benjamin Bradley, sister, Virginia (Greg) Tyszka, brother, Joseph (Sue) Makar, nephews, Joseph Makar, and Greg (Michelle) Tyszka, niece, Pamela (Edward) Christman, great niece, Jade Tyszka, sister-in-law, Pat (Frank) Popeko, nieces, Patti (Donni) Smerk, and Leanne (Brian) Swift, great niece, Avorie as well as a loving extended family who will miss her immensely.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Parkside Church in Bainbridge, OH on June 17, 2023 at 11:00 am, and a graveside ceremony will be conducted at Aurora Cemetery on June 19, 2023 at 11:00 am. Afterwards a luncheon and time of remembrance will occur in a pavilion at Sunny Lake in Aurora, OH.
