Elizabeth Jean Dages

Elizabeth Jean Dages (Nee Schultz), age 85, of Westerville, Ohio, died on June 16, 2023. She was born in Solon, Ohio, on December 31, 1937, to the late William and Katherine Schultz, and was a 1955 graduate of Solon High School. Mrs. Dages graduated from Kent State University in 1959 and had a successful career as an Elementary school teacher. Elizabeth married her late loving husband, Thomas Dages, on April 2, 1966. Dear mother of John (Carol), Richard, Donald (Sandra), and James (Heather) Dages; loving grandmother of Samantha, Jacob, Kai, Emma, Josie, Gabby, and Everly; and dearest Aunt to many nieces and nephews. While she is survived by brother Norman, she was preceded in death by siblings Gladys, Pearl, William, Marie, Donald, Dona, and Harold (Butch).
Beth enjoyed spending her time researching family genealogy, knitting, reading books, watching English shows and most of all enjoying time with her grandchildren and family. She was a part of the Genoa Seniors group and a long-time member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

Family will receive friends and relatives at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 Bainbridge Road, Solon, Ohio 44139, Friday, June 23rd from 5-8pm and again Saturday morning, June 24th from 10-11:30am. The funeral service at the funeral home will be held at 11:30am, with a graveside ceremony to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, (corner of SR43 and Solon Rd.) Solon, OH 44139.
