Frank was born and raised in Cleveland to Joseph and Ludmilla “Lillian” (nee Prochaska) Zronek. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He married Maryann on October 3, 1954, she died on September 9, 1994 from complications of Lupus. His dog “Lady” was a comforting part of his life that needs to be mentioned. Frank retired from The Regional Transit Authority in 1987 after 13 years of service and attained the distinction of the Million Mile Club without an accident. Prior to RTA, he worked for 25 years in the Shaker Heights Transit system. After retiring, Frank dedicated himself as an employee and a volunteer to Church of the Resurrection, Knights of Columbus, Steinbauer Funeral Home, and helped many friends. It seems that he rarely rested, but was always there to help accomplish many tasks for so many people. He was also a member of Solon VFW Post 1863 and Czechoslovakian Society of America; he also enjoyed watching Hockey, especially the Cleveland Barons. Frank died from complications of pneumonia.
