LLOYD W. DULL III, of Akron. July 26, 1953 – April 5, 2012. Beloved son of Lloyd W. Dull II and the late Marjorie S. (nee Simons); loving brother of Barbara Jean Dull. Lloyd was born in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of a career Army family.  He shared his father’s love of travel and was happiest during his family’s numerous adventures and sampling new cuisines wherever they went.  The absence of his Norwegian humor is already felt and we miss him so much. Lloyd was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity while attending the University of Akron.
A memorial gathering will take place from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Kindrich McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Road, Solon, Ohio 44139. In lieu of flowers memorials may be may be made to Pawsibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron since Lloyd was a dog lover.


Clarence Retych

CLARENCE W. RETYCH “Lefty” of Solon. April 3, 1923 – March 28, 2012. Army Veteran WWII, member of Solon VFW Post 1863. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Kozak); loving father of Ronald and Donald (Maryann) Retych; loving grandfather of Crystal, Katie Stover, Donald Jr., Justin, and Ronald Jr.; cherished great grandfather of Alexandra and Jack; uncle and great uncle to many. Tiffany Neff

Tiffany Marie Neff, 25, died suddenly on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Moreland Hills, Ohio. She is the beloved daughter of Sandra L. Lawrence (Dr. Eric S. Lawrence) and David A. Neff. Sisters and brother Monica Neff, Erin Lawrence, and Zachary Lawrence, also survive her. Her passing is also mourned by paternal grandparents Joseph and Nicoletta Rini; Joanne Neff (John Neff-deceased), John Campolieti and Elizabeth Escano (Estanislao Escano-deceased); maternal grandmother Sandra Lawrence (Phillip Lawrence-deceased) and loving friend Brian J. Herbe. Her soul has joined those of maternal grandparents Edward J. Prasek and Samantha Dell Meyers. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive her.

Tiffany was a member of the Gilmour Academy community where she graduated High School in 2005. She graduated from Miami University in 2009 with a Degree in Political Science.

Tiffany was vivacious, active and energetic. She was very health conscious and athletic as a three-sport high school athlete and more recently a recreational runner and yoga participant. Her warm and vibrant personality was evident by the fact that she could bring a smile to anyone’s face and warmed your heart, no matter what the circumstance. Tiffany was very charitable and an active member of the Columbus Juniors League. Politics were her passion as she was actively involved as a member of State Treasury Josh Mandel’s Campaign for Senate in 2012.

Family will receive friends Thursday March 29, at KINDRICH-MCHUGH STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, OH, from 2-4 and 7-9PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11AM in Holy Angels Church, 18205 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge, OH, with Father Dan Schlegel officiating. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.

Alice Petras

ALICE L. PETRAS (nee Spitz), June 24, 1915 – March 21, 2012. Alice was an educator for the Cleveland Public Schools for 20 years. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Mansbach and the late Steve Petras; dear mother of Jay (Catherine) Mansbach and Arthur (Sherry Morris) Mansbach; step-mother of Steve (Colleen) Petras, Vicki (the late Maurice) Beggiani, and Linda (Dan) Scott; loving grandmother of David (Danielle), Matthew (Lane), Elizabeth (Neil), Sara, Steven, Max, Maja, Sahana, the late Emily, Michelle (Geoff), Nicole, and Neil; cherished great grandmother of Benjamin and Catherine. Services Monday March 26, 2:30PM at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, where family will visit with friends FROM 4-7 PM Sunday. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Lucy Scaffidi

Lucy Marcelletti Scaffidi loved to teach, to read, to bowl and to spend time with her friends and family.  She was born December 16, 1913 and  passed away peacefully on Saturday March 17th, 2012.  Beloved wife of the late Peter Scaffidi.  Caring daughter of deceased parents Emilio and Theresa (nee Di Tommaso)  Loving mother of Dr. Linda Scaffidi (Michael Kron). Loving sister of James Marcelletti and of the deceased Elizabeth Tacl, Ann Redig, Michael Jaffrin and Helen Jaffrin.  Loving grandmother of Colleen, Tara and Erin Kron.   She studied English at Case Western Reserve and then received a degree in Elementary Education from Kent State University in 1936.  She loved every day of the 15 years she taught English at Garfield Heights High School.  She taught her family to appreciate literature, poetry, gin rummy, the Cleveland Indians and Wheel of Fortune. She lived with grace, passion and a great sense of humor.  Mass of Christian burial Friday March 23, 10 AM at St. Dominic Church 19000 Van Aken Ave., Shaker Heights.  Interment Knollwood Cemetery.  Family will visit with friends at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 Bainbridge Road, Solon FROM 5-8 PM THURSDAY.  Memorials may be made to St. Dominic’s Guild.
