Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer History
Thomas S. Steinbauer has owned and operated the Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home for over 24 years, since 1993. The funeral home has been in existence since 1955, serving the four county area of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Portage and Summit. We are proud of our status as the “First and Finest Funeral Home in Solon”. We have also been serving the Chagrin Valley area as an alternative to the smaller and more expensive funeral homes in the Chagrin Falls, Bainbridge Twp., Moreland Hills, Newbury Twp., and Russell Twp.; we are only four miles from downtown Chagrin Falls.
Tom was raised on a farm in north central Ohio and graduated from John Carroll University and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent; all three licenses in the State of Ohio qualifies him to be skilled in all facets of the funeral services, pre-need planning, funeral directing, as well as excellent embalming skills.
Tom is active in the day-to-day operations of the funeral home and is proud of the service options available to assist families through a most difficult time in ones life. Notably, the Steinbauer Funeral Home is known for superior quality services, especially for the Veteran and Public Servant. From burial services including cremation services, to expert planning services, the Steinbauer Funeral Home offers a spacious and comfortable facility, the largest in the Chagrin Valley, and is unique with impeccable catering services.
