Thomas S. Steinbauer has owned and operated the Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home for over 20 years, since 1993. The funeral home has been in existence since 1955, serving the four county area of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Portage and Summit. We are proud of our status as the "First and Finest Funeral Home in Solon".
Tom was raised on a farm in north central Ohio and graduated from John Carroll University and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent; all three licenses in the State of Ohio qualifies him to be skilled in all facets of the funeral services, pre-need planning, funeral directing, as well as excellent embalming skills.
Tom is active in the day-to-day operations of the funeral home and is proud of the service options available to assist families through a most difficult time in ones life. The Steinbauer family has partnered with the LoPresti family of Lyndhurst, Ohio and has also aquired 50 Trails End in Aurora, Ohio for a second location, not only for funeral gatherings but also for larger family events such as Reunions, Weddings, Birthdays, shower gatherings for brides and babies, and the like. We have adopted the name Aurora Events for this venue. We have a large dining room, grill room and patio area, and we can cater for up to 250 guests.
